Dry July challenges you to go alcohol-free for a month and raise funds for people affected by blood cancer!
Challenge yourself to 31 days dry or, this year, have a Dry(ish) July and choose 21 or 14 days dry!
Ask your family, friends and workmates to sponsor you and help families facing up to blood cancer, which includes lymphoma, leukaemia and myeloma.
Dry July started in 2007 as a conversation and a bit of a challenge between mates looking to give up alcohol for a month to raise a few thousand dollars. Over 1,000 participants took part in 2008 and Dry July was born.
Since then, Dry July has inspired more than 200,000 Aussies to go dry, raising $49 million for people affected by cancer, and funding projects at more than 80 cancer organisations across Australia.
The Leukaemia Foundation is proud to once again be selected as one of six major beneficiaries for the Dry July campaign.
When you raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, you’ll be directly supporting our Blood Cancer Support team.
No-one asks for blood cancer so we’re asking you to help by signing up for Dry July. Going alcohol free for a month is a small sacrifice to help make a better life for people with blood cancer.
