Regular Giving Service Agreement

By committing to make a monthly donation, you authorise Leukaemia Foundation, ABN 57 057 493 017, to arrange for funds to be debited from your nominated financial institution account or credit card.

Leukaemia Foundation will use third party service providers to facilitate your payments, including PayPal and Stripe and you authorise the Leukaemia Foundation to securely provide your information to these providers for this purpose.

You agree to pay Leukaemia Foundation when due under the arrangement between us. This authority with the terms described in the service agreement below is to remain in effect until revoked by either yourself or Leukaemia Foundation.

Leukaemia Foundation’s commitment to you

We will:

  • Keep information private and confidential in accordance with privacy legislation to be disclosed only at your request or at the request of the financial institution in connection with a claim made to correct/investigate an alleged incorrect or wrongful debit or otherwise as required by law.
  • Confirm the details of the debit arrangement prior to the first debit and advise the commencement date of the first debit.
  • Debit your nominated financial institution account or credit card on your chosen debit date (or the next business day) of each month.
  • We may reattempt an unsuccessful transaction within 15 days of the original debit date.
  • Give you at least 14 days notice in writing of any changes to the terms of the debit agreement.
  • Act in accordance with the legal processes governed by the associated credit card scheme or direct debit regulations.

Your commitment to Leukaemia Foundation

It is your responsibility to:

  • Ensure your nominated bank account or credit card can accept direct debit or recurring payments as this service may not always be available. If unsure, ask your financial institution.
  • Ensure there are sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account to meet each debit on the due date, as you may otherwise incur a fee from your financial institution.
  • Check your nominated account statement to ensure that the funds debited from your account are correct.
  • Advise us immediately if the nominated account is transferred or closed or your account details change.
  • Advise us at least fourteen working days prior to the debit date if you would like to defer, cancel or alter the arrangement.

If you believe there has been an error in debiting your account, please contact Leukaemia Foundation on 1800 620 420 as soon as possible so that we can attempt to resolve the issue. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can refer it to your financial institution.

We will notify you in writing of its determination and the amount of any adjustment that will be made to your nominated account (if any).

Changes and cancellations

You have the right to cancel, defer or make alterations to your gift arrangement at any time by contacting Leukaemia Foundation on 1800 620 420.

Such advice should be received at least fourteen days prior to the drawing date for any of the following:

  • Changing your nominated debit account
  • Deferring a debit
  • Altering a debit schedule
  • Cancelling the debits completely

Leukaemia Foundation reserves the right to cancel the debit arrangements if three consecutive debits are dishonoured by your financial institution, and to arrange with you an alternative payment method. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your nominated financial institution account to see whether dishonour fees apply. Leukaemia Foundation may charge additional dishonour fees in accordance with your agreement.


Yearly tax receipts will be issued in July at the end of each financial year. If you have any questions about your tax receipt for your regular donations, please contact Leukaemia Foundation on 1800 620 420.

All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

Privacy collection statement

Leukaemia Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy. Leukaemia Foundation collects your relevant personal information in order to accept and process your donation, as set out in this agreement. Leukaemia Foundation will also use your personal information to provide you with updates in respect of Leukaemia Foundation’s activities and the impact of giving to Leukaemia Foundation, and, unless you opt out or unsubscribe, contact you in the future with fundraising campaign information.
