Terms of use

Contributing story, photography and video content

You are responsible for all content you contribute through www.leukaemia.org.au and hereby grant to the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia Limited ACN 057 493 017 and its representatives (Leukaemia Foundation), the irrevocable right and consent to use your story biography (which may include personal identifiers or health information), as well as take and use in perpetuity: photographs, video and any other digital material of yourself (Personal Information) for promotional purposes such as internal communications, news releases, promotional appeals, newsletters, promotional use on the internet including on social media and educational materials (Publication).

You understand that your appearance in promotional materials may be edited in Leukaemia Foundation’s sole discretion and that you will be represented in the Promotional Material as endorsing the Leukaemia Foundation, and consent to this.

You further agree that your name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text, commentary in connection with the story, image(s) and/or footage, or in Publication generally and consent to Leukaemia Foundation disclosing this Personal Information or health information in this way for the purpose outlined above.

You authorise the use of the above without compensation to yourself. You agree that all copies, negatives, prints, footage and digital reproductions using your Personal Information (Documents), and all intellectual property in such Documents, will be the property of the Leukaemia Foundation, however you may request copies of these Documents.

Where applicable, you assign all intellectual property in the Documents to the Leukaemia Foundation. You understand that Leukaemia Foundation cannot control unauthorised use of your Personal Information by persons not associated with Leukaemia Foundation upon the Publication of your Personal Information. You release the Leukaemia Foundation from any loss, claim, liability, damage and expense arising out of the use of the Personal Information in Publications.
