Barry Du Bois is a much-loved Australian television presenter, designer and renovator, best known for his work on The Living Room.

Following his own blood cancer journey, Barry became a Leukaemia Foundation Ambassador, sharing his story to support and inspire others affected by blood cancer.

In this conversation, Barry will reflect on the moments that matter most, the meaning of legacy, and encourage us all to think about the values, memories and impact we hope to leave behind.

Emily is a highly experienced senior specialist who works with non-profit and philanthropic organisations, supporting boards and executive teams to strengthen strategy, governance and long-term sustainability.

With a background spanning the humanitarian aid, international development and non-profit sectors, Emily has held senior leadership roles across both large and small organisations.

She is experienced in supporting boards and executives on organisational strategy, risk, governance and operating model design, with a strong focus on balancing mission delivery with financial resilience.

Emily holds Master’s degrees in Participatory Development and Human Rights and brings a practical, governance-led perspective shaped by experience across Australia, including with Indigenous communities, and throughout the Pacific.
