Where does your money go?
The Leukaemia Foundation is committed to transparently and ethically managing and distributing funds to support people with blood cancer. Our Donor Charter outlines the promises we make to donors regarding how their gifts will be used.
Your donations make a real and tangible difference for people who are facing life-changing diagnoses. Here are some ways your incredible support is changing lives:

Accommodation for families forced to relocate for life-saving treatment
Our blood cancer centres are located close to major treatment centres and provide a welcoming home away from home for patients and their loved ones. The centres include self-contained units where families can stay for extended periods while receiving treatment. This is particularly important for people from regional, rural and remote areas.
Wraparound care for patients, families and carers
Our support services are tailored to meet the unique needs of people with blood cancer and their carers. Delivered by highly qualified and compassionate healthcare professionals, these services include emotional support, transport and financial assistance, and online support groups.

Groundbreaking research driving better treatments and earlier diagnoses
Our National Research Program funds innovative research designed to improve the care, treatment and outcomes for people with blood cancer. Our key projects include supporting leading clinicians and researchers who are improving access to clinical trials, and investigating the impact of blood cancer on Australia’s First Nations peoples.
