Face-to-face fundraising
Learn more about our face-to-face fundraising and how it is one of the most effective ways for us to connect with Australians in the community who care about making a difference.
Every 26 minutes, another Australian is diagnosed with blood cancer. This is why we are asking the community for help.
Our fundraisers are fully trained and professional representatives who are dedicated to raising awareness and vital funds to support people living with blood cancer.
You’ll find our friendly team in shopping centres, public areas, and visiting your local neighbourhood ready to talk to you about how regular donations can make a huge impact.
To ensure the highest standard of fundraising, the Leukaemia Foundation and the fundraisers you meet on the street are all members of the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association.
If you see our fundraisers out and about, please stop and say hi!

A blood cancer diagnosis comes out of nowhere. Treatment can take months. Recovery can take years.
Throughout that time, the hospital stays, appointments and financial pressure don’t stop. That’s why monthly support from the community matters.

All suppliers that we work with are members of the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association, the self-regulatory body for face-to-face fundraising in Australia and abide by the rules and code of conduct.
We pay our partner agencies a one-off fee for each new regular donor that chooses to join our amazing community. The fee varies depending on a number of contractual conditions and we pay this fee out of a pre-allocated budget, not directly out of an individual’s donation.
The Leukaemia Foundation works hard to ensure all fundraising and marketing costs are kept low and essential to support our vital programs.
