Vale – Thomas Bray

Tom BrayThomas Bray was born in Mt Isa in 1944. He was one of seven children and attended St Joseph’s school.

During his working life, he was employed by Mt Isa Mines until he left Mt Isa to be near his sister on the Sunshine Coast. There, he joined the local branch of the Leukaemia Foundation and for the past 18 years he held the position of Treasurer, a job he did with great pride and accuracy.

For his dedication to the Leukaemia Foundation, he was given the honour of being made a Life Member at the Leukaemia Foundation’s state conference in October. This was a surprise to Tom and something he was very proud to receive.

Tom will be sadly missed by all branch members and staff of the Leukaemia Foundation.
