The island awaits!

This year’s Leukaemia Foundation Aussie Muscle Car run will take in 1700 kms from Adelaide to Melbourne.

Setting out from Adelaide, cars will cruise through Halls Gap, Phillip Island, the Grand Prix Circuit, Mornington Peninsula, and finally end in Melbourne.

Due to growing popularity, the 2019 AMCR will be the largest to date, with 65 stunning and varied muscle cars taking on this epic motoring challenge to help raise more than $600,000 to help beat blood cancer.


In 2019, the run will take place from Saturday 26 October to Saturday 2 November.


Open to cars manufactured between 1963 – 1977 (replicas welcome) and includes various models of Ford, Holden and Chrysler – visit the website for all eligible cars.

Cars of special interest which fall outside the criteria will be considered by the Event Organisers.

How much?

Entrant fee of $1,550 (per person) includes:

  • daily breakfast and dinner
  • seven nights of accommodation – twin share
  • on route medical support
  • managed event support along the way
  • all motor sport events
  • entertainment
  • mechanical support and 24 hour security.

Entrants must fundraise an additional $4,000 (minimum) per car entry and entrants will be given fundraising support and advice from the Leukaemia Foundation’s events team.
