Living with MPN: recording
The Living with MPN – Now & Into the Future information session with Professor Ruben Mesa, was held in Sydney in March.
People living with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) were quick to take up this opportunity to hear a world authority* talk about this rare blood cancer.
After Dr Mesa’s presentation, many of you took advantage of being able to ask him questions concerning your own personal experiences with MPN.
Prior to the event, we asked invitees to submit questions they would like us to ask Dr Mesa and we received lots of suggestions. Many of these questions were answered by Dr Mesa in a face-to-face interview that was filmed.
Dr Mesa is an international expert in MPN, having studied MPN for more than 20 years. He is committed to improving therapeutic options and quality of life and is highly involved in patient advocacy. He is Director of UT Health San Antonio Cancer Center and Director, Mays Family Foundation Distinguished University Presidential Chair Professor of Medicine. He has been a principal or co-principal investigator of 50+ clinical trials and has more than 800 lifetime medical publications.Last updated on January 2nd, 2020
