Our life-saving work across Australia is only made possible with the help of our supporters.
His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland, became our patron in 2014. He is the 26th Governor of Queensland and representative of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queensland’s Head of State.
A dedicated long-standing Queenslander, Mr de Jersey was appointed the Governor of Queensland on 29 July 2014. He was born in Brisbane in 1948, the third son of school teacher parents Ronald and Moya (both now deceased).
The Governor won a Commonwealth Scholarship to the University of Queensland, from which he graduated in Arts in 1969 and Laws (with Honours) in 1971.
In December 1971, the Governor married Kaye Brown. Mr and Mrs de Jersey have three children and three grandchildren.
Trusts and foundations
Through the generous benevolence of philanthropic trusts and corporate foundation grants, private ancillary funds and government submissions, we can continue our life-saving work through research, care and support.
Philanthropic partners may choose to support a range of specific programs across Australia that have tangible outcomes and benefits for people diagnosed with blood cancer.
Working with Government
We welcome the commitment by Federal Labor to give Australians with blood cancer faster access to leading clinical trial drugs and therapies.
We work with a large number of partners from a wide range of industries and our long-term partnerships are testament to the quality of the services we provide and the importance of the work we do.
