PhD scholarships

The Leukaemia Foundation provides support for the educational and professional development of researchers and other professionals undertaking a PhD.

We offer PhD scholarships of up to $40,000 pa. These awards are to support basic, applied and translational research in Australia into the causes, treatment and care of people with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders. Selections will be made by an independent panel of experts. Scholarships will be awarded for up to three years subject to satisfactory annual progress.

Applying for PhD scholarships

Applications for PhD scholarships will be open in April each year. Applications for scholarships close on September 26 in 2008. It is the responsibility of the applicant to read carefully the eligibility criteria and general information for applicants on the Fellowships and Scholarships page.
