Current and Past Award Recipients

The Leukaemia Foundation has an ongoing commitment to funding cutting-edge Australian research to improve treatments and find cures for leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders.

In 2011 the Foundation is investing more than $4.3 million dollars in 59 research projects nationally. This includes 7 new PhD Scholarships (including 2 Clinical PhD Scholarships), 3 new Fellowships, 1 Honours Scholarship and 17 new Grants-in-Aid; as well as support for ongoing projects. In 2011 we have introduced a Clinical Trial Grant valued at $200,000 pa over 3 years – our first ever funding of a clinical trial

Since the National Research Program began in 2005, the Leukaemia Foundation has invested $20,000,000 in research for better treatments and cures for blood cancers and related disorders.
