Fellowships & scholarships
The Leukaemia Foundation's fellowships and scholarships program aims to encourage talented young students, medical graduates, researchers and other health professions to pursue a career in research to find cures and better ways to care for patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphoma, myeloma or related blood disorders.
Specific areas of support include:
- Clinical and Postdoctoral fellowships (up to $100,000 pa)
- PhD scholarships (up to $40,000 pa)
- Honours year scholarships (up to $10,000 pa)
Funding is awarded for one year but extensions may be considered from successful applicants in subsequent funding rounds.
Grantees
Projects that have been started or are currently being funded under this program are producing important and in some cases, significant, findings. The results of which will impact on the way leukaemias, lymphomas and myeloma are treated both in Australia and overseas.

National Grants Review Committee
All applications are reviewed by our National Grants Review Committee. This Committee was set up by our National Medical Advisory Committee to provide an independent panel of leading haematologists and specialist researchers to select the grants, fellowships and scholarships we fund.
