June 14 is World Blood Donor Day

Did you know that to treat one person with acute leukaemia for one month, 18 people need to donate blood? Donors of blood and blood product play a critical role in treatment of people with blood cancer. On this World Blood Donor Day Blood we thank everyone who is a current donor, and ask everyone else to consider becoming one.
