Aon Staff participating in World’s Greatest Shave
February 2007 was the beginning of a three year partnership with Leukaemia Foundation as the first charity partner for the Aon Charitable Foundation.
The Aon Foundation was established to manage Aon’s corporate donations. One of its main objectives is to establish partnerships with a small number of national charities which will provide the opportunity to engage staff along the way.
Aon’s support for the Leukaemia Foundation is in the form of financial donations, staff involvement in World’s Greatest Shave, a blood donor program, staff awards and workplace giving resulting in annual donations of over $100,000.
The Chairman of the Aon Foundation, Ron Dobell says, “Our support will assist the Leukaemia Foundation to continue to expand its services as well as underpinning further research. It will also provide a great opportunity for our staff to get involved with fundraising through the World’s Greatest Shave and other activities. We certainly look forward to assisting the Foundation in any way we can.”
