Corporate donations to the Leukaemia Foundation fund ground-breaking research into better treatments and cures for leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders, as well as providing personalised and practical care for patients and families. Donations make a difference every day:
- $55 keeps a patient transport vehicle on the road for a day, transporting patients to and from treatment
- $100 pays for a family to stay in a fully furnished 'home away from home' close to treatment centres for one night
- $1,000 provides a tailored counselling, support and advice program guiding a family through their journey.
- $40,000 provides a PhD scholarship for one year (PhD scholarships usually run for three years).
All donations $2 and over are fully tax deductible.
