The Leukaemia Foundation has accommodation available in four locations across Melbourne for regional families with a loved one requiring blood cancer treatment in Melbourne.

New Victorian Patient Accommodation Centre

A major initiative to improve the care and support we provide is our latest accommodation project – the $9.1 million Leukaemia Foundation Victorian Patient Accommodation Centre.

The 15 apartments in our new Building of Hope, located across the road from the new Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre and close to Melbourne’s major treating hospitals, will be available in mid-2016.

East Melbourne Apartments

Two apartments located within the Tribecca Complex, each of these apartments can accommodate one family. 

Facilities include roof-top gym and pool, and there is an IGA supermarket and organic grocery store nearby.

The apartments are in close proximity to all major treatment centres, including the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, St.Vincent's Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital with the tram at your doorstep.

 

North Melbourne Apartments 

Our three fully self-contained apartments in North Melbourne each comprising two-bedrooms are situated just metres from the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and only a short walk to the Royal Children's Hospital.

The apartment buildings are each close to the Queen Victoria Markets which have fresh vegetables, fruit and meat markets and have access to a tram stop on Flemington Rd which can take you straight to the city centre.

South Yarra Apartments 

Our three apartments in South Yarra are each located only 2 minutes walk to The Alfred Hospital, the apartments are all fully self-contained and underground parking is provided.

The two apartments located in the Chevron Building each comprise two bedrooms and also feature a pool and gym.

The third apartment is located across from the Alfred Hospital and comprises three bedrooms.


Mantra Bell City Short-Term Apartments - Preston

The Leukaemia Foundation has four serviced apartments located in Bell City, Preston, close to the Melbourne CBD and treatment centres.

The fully-furnished apartments come complete with kitchenette and provide a clean and safe environment for people with blood cancer and their families to call home for short periods of time whilst needing to stay in Melbourne.

The Bell City Complex has an onsite pool, gym and restaurant for guests to utilise at their leisure and the Leukaemia Foundation also provides an onsite carpark with each room.
