The beasts are coming home and only a few spots remain for original and replica 1963-1977 muscle car owners to join the Leukaemia Foundation’s inaugural Victoria Aussie Muscle Car Run fundraising cruise.
Driving through some of Victoria’s greatest towns and local communities, funds raised from the 1900 kilometre cruise will go towards the Leukaemia Foundation’s Building of Hope and provide practical support and accommodation for regional families who must relocate for lifesaving blood cancer treatment.
The atmosphere of the 60s and 70s will be in full swing as the muscle cars tour the breathtaking Great Ocean Road, visit to Maffra Shed Car Museum and experience motorsport at Winton Race Way, Heathcote Drags and Portland’s 8th Mile Dragging Club.
The true highlight of the week is ‘money can’t buy’ access to driving experiences at both Holden and Ford’s grounds however ‘Show and Shine’ events are being planned across the state ensuring locals can experience the magnificent interior and exterior of all the incredible cars on display.
The Aussie Muscle Car Run will conclude with a parade lap and a presentation dinner to say thank you to all drivers, fundraisers, sponsors and volunteers.
