    Personalised medicine for people with the most common type of lymphoma (DLBCL) is one step closer today thanks to our supporters. A new test will save some people from months of unnecessary chemotherapy by showing doctors if the person is likely to do well on standard therapies, or if they should use an alternate therapy straight away.

    Starting today, more than 1450 Australian bartenders will let their patrons know: 'I'm U.G.L.Y.' all for the Leukaemia Foundation's U.G.L.Y. Bartender of the Year to help regional Australians facing blood cancer. U.G.L.Y. stands for 'Understanding Generous Likeable You' and every $80 raised by a bartender provides a night of accommodation to a regional family that needs to relocate to the city during treatment.
